I won't cross these streets, till you hold my hand

Spring is here!

Well kinda...Outside, at this moment, it is dark, cold and my cell phone is predicting rain. But I swear spring was here only two days ago. It was an amazing feeling walking out of class on Saturday to be greeted with the sun on my skin after such a long winter (filled with snow storms and terrible rain storms). Nothing is better than breathing fresh spring air. I instantly updated my twitter to read "I want to make love with this weather and have its babies". I may have scared it away, cause only a day and half later it was gone :(. Don't get me wrong I love rain. Especially in the summer. I love to sit out on my porch, with a book and listen to the rain fall. But this is not summer rain. I wouldn't even say spring rain. Its dark, dreary, cold, winter-like rain. O well this past weekend can only be a sign that this horrible weather will be passing soon. Im also grateful that we could enjoy a few days of spring during the weekend and not when we have to stay indoor in our offices. Jordan and I wanted to take full advantage of the weather this past weekend, so we did something we haven't done since our first date. We visited Central Park.

We started our morning with a Dunkin Donut breakfast. Jordan, after seeing the picture in the window and being intrigued by the concept, ordered the waffle breakfast sandwich. Of course, he didn't even eat the whole thing. Typical Jordan.

Nothing better than driving in the car listening to incubus. "Meet me in outer space, we could spend the night and watch the earth come up...."

After arriving in NYC and realizing we were going to spend a fortune on parking, we walked around for a bit to take pictures of the beautiful apartments. Almost everytime I see these places I always ask the person with me " Do you know how much it would cost to live here?". Usually the answer is always the same "Too much", " A lot of money", "Who knows". But I can't always help but fantasize about my future life in NYC living in one of these apartments.

We then headed to the park to watch people in rowboats.

I loved that there was a man in a rowboat with his dog. I was wondering what was going through that dog's head.

Jordan and I really need to perfect the art of lining up the camera to take photos. Apparently we haven't figured it out yet.

How awesome is this tree? It looks like it has a bellybutton.

I love this picture. It looks like a dream.

I mentioned to Jordan that we had come full circle. It was about 2 years ago when we had our first date and went to the museum of natural history&central park. I had no idea then that 2 years later we would be in the same spot, still together.

Now here I am stuck in this office, dealing with the allergies that my trip to the park left me with
, dreaming of warmer days.

Let's pack our bags and settle where palm tree grows

Isn't my puppy the cutest? Actually he's far from being a puppy, but to me he'll always be my baby.
